60th Birthday Memories In Camps Bay

60th Birthday Memories In Camps Bay

Amanda and her family travelled to Cape Town From Polokwane in the Limpopo Province, for a family vacation.  It was a gift for her Dad’s upcoming 60th birthday, and the family wanted to celebrate it together.  They stayed in the lively and vibrant Camps Bay area,  where we did their early morning photo shoot on the beach.  It was a little windy, and as everyone in the Cape knows, our weather is very ‘beautifully temperamental’ and we can often experience four seasons in one day. Amanda had matching dresses made for all the ladies, and the colours looked amazing with the sand and ocean as the backdrop

My clients are often asking me for tips on where to eat, so here are some family friendly recommendations:

Tigers Milk – a family friendly restaurant across from the beach offers casual dining, and their choice of daily 70’s and 80’s music makes it a great place to chat loudly across the table and feel like you’re at home. If they are booked, head to Col’Cacchio’s or Primi which both offer great pizza’a and delicious salads.

If you are wanting something more upmarket, I can highly recommend The Roundhouse for fine dining (pre-booking essential). They offer one of the finest boutique wine collections in the country, which are paired with the food created by internationally trained chef.

If you are feeling spontaneous, and want to get a quick bite to eat, there are ample cafe’s lined up along the main road that will offer something to satisfy every taste.
